All items - Gilly Hicks
A little while back I was lucky enough to be contacted by Gilly Hicks, the cousin brand of Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister, inviting me to visit the store and have a cheeky shopping spree! To be honest with you, I really didn't know what to expect. I'm not exactly a regular in Hollister and the like (you've probably realised by now that I'm not exactly a hoodie and sweatpants kinda gal) so I wasn't sure what I'd find to suit my wardrobe! After a bit of googling, I found out that Gilly Hicks was big on underwear and loungewear, so I figured, if all else failed, it'd be a great opportunity for underwear shopping!
Turns out, I didn't need to worry at all. Gilly Hicks is like the cheeky cousin of Abercrombie, specialising in laid back loungewear with a beachy vibe. Yes, there were a lot of knickers and pjs (all in sporty brights and cute patterns), but what really grabbed me were the gorgeous slouchy basics on offer! No one can resist a good basic, and with Gilly's gorgeous soft knits and slouchy cotton tops, I was won over! This soft knit jumper has been one of my go-to winter pieces in the last few weeks, and the sheer loose knit tops will no-doubt be wardrobe staples for all seasons! Perfect for wearing with jeans in colder months, or as a cute summer cover-up! The best thing was that everything came in a whole array of colours, so once you found a good shape or style, you could buy it in more than one shade! I definitely want the neon pink version of this jumper too! I couldn't resist buying some of the underwear too, I was just too sucked in by the pretty colours and patterns. I was lucky enough to be given a £150 voucher for the day, and I still have a little bit left over, so I'll no doubt be back in to buy more when I'm next in London - the only problem will be deciding whether to buy a matching underwear set or some more cute jumpers and tops! What a dilemma....
If you're a fan of styles like this, then I'd definitely recommend checking out the Gilly Hicks website here, or visit a store near you! (Tip: try not to go on a Saturday, the only downside of my experience was that the shop was not only dark - it's the Hollister way - but also absolutely crammed so it was a bit of a nightmare to browse!)
What do you think of the pieces I chose? You'll no doubt be seeing them in my outfit posts soon!

I love the laid back style! The blue jumper is amazing! xx

I'm not a big fan of these sort of designers apart from for joggers/tracksuits! However I would defiantly like to check out Gilly Hicks, these look great!
